Two days after the reception of the students and their parents, an official opening ceremony of the National School of Artificial Intelligence was organised. The ceremony was chaired by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Ghouali.
The local authorities of the city of Sidi Abdellah, the Ministry’s executives, the directors of the research centres and the Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Algiers were invited to the ceremony.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, a framework agreement was signed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Chinese company Huawei.
