Today, on June 26, 2023, the National School of Artificial Intelligence (ENSIA), in collaboration with the National School of Mathematics (NHSM), hosted the official ceremony for the establishment of the Scientific Council of Artificial Intelligence reporting to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research as well as the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-entreprises.
The council is responsible for proposing ideas to develop artificial intelligence in the following areas:
- Creating a suitable environment for artificial intelligence at different levels.
- Designing training programs for artificial intelligence.
- Identifying international collaboration opportunities in artificial intelligence for educational and research institutions.
During the event, an interministerial decree was signed between the two ministries, followed by a series of presentations by council members on artificial intelligence and data science, where attending researchers and students actively engaged in the discussions.
